If you are involved in philanthropy in Aotearoa NZ and you haven’t yet registered for the fabulous biennial Philanthropy NZ Summit, May 18 – 20, there’s still time to do so. Here’s a very short movie I did for PNZ explaining why I think this is such a great conference.
I will be there and I am feeling honoured to be co-facilitating a workshop with the wonderful Haimona Waititi entitled “Ki te Hoe – Tools for boards and CEs”. If you are a funder CE or trustee, and have an interest in better supporting Māori aspirations, this workshop is for you. We’ll introduce tools to self-assess how you are doing so far, there’ll be opportunities to explore and solve any challenges, and you’ll get a sneak peak into the soon-to-be released “Ki Te Hoe – A Capability Building Framework for funders supporting Māori Aspirations”.
The conference runs online and via viewing parties over three short days and the workshop Haimona and I are running is on Wednesday 19/5 at 11am. You can register for the conference here and I’d love to see you there!
